There are several reasons why you would want to rip an audio CD. Right off the top of my head, I can think of the following: you want to enjoy the tracks on your MP3 player, you don’t want to risk scratching the CD, you want to use a track from the CD in a project. No matter the reason, by using Helium Audio Ripper you will be able to easily and quickly rip tracks from audio CDs.

There is nothing complicated about getting Helium Audio Ripper up and running on your PC. After you download the application’s installer, you must run it; when you are presented with the application’s setup wizard, you must simply follow the instructions that are presented onscreen. It is, in all, a simple and effortless task.

There are three panels on the application’s interface:
Track details – presented in the upper left hand corner, this panel lists all the tracks from the audio CD.
Album information – presented in the upper right hand corner, this panel presents information about the album (album name, artist, genre, publisher, and so on).
Options – down at the bottom there’s the Options panel that allows you to choose the output format, pick the folder where the ripped files will be saved, access the Options menu, and launch the ripping process.

As I see it, using Helium Audio Ripper is a straightforward 3-step process:
Step 1 – launch Helium Audio Ripper and insert an audio CD.
Step 2 – set up the specifics. Choose the tracks you want to rip, select where they will be saved, play with the encoder settings, edit track names.
Step 3 – launch the CD ripping process and wait for Helium Audio Ripper to do its job.

The tracks ripped from the audio CD can be saved as AAC, FLAC, M4a, M4b, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG Vorbis, Wave, WAVPack, and WMA.

Helium Audio Ripper is free software.

Want a free and easy to use tool that will rip tracks from audio CDs? If you do, you’re well advised to go get Helium Audio Ripper!

Pros
